Level:  intermediate (play 2 or more sizes of recorders; solid music reading skills)
Class size:  Maximum of 10
Cost:  $25 per session or $80 for all 4 sessions
Format:  Zoom meeting platform
Materials needed:  Susato's Danserye (1551), London Pro Musica Edition (LPM 101); other editions may be used, but Jody will only refer to the LPM edition during class.  Copies are not provided (but will provide temporary copies with proof of having ordered the music)
Computer/device setup:  Adjust Zoom settings in advance for optimum music quality; external speakers and quality external microphone recommended (not required)

We will discuss and read through many of the dances in Tielman Susato's 1551 publication Danserye.  This will be a crash-course in dances and will be appropriate for musicians wishing to improve Renaissance dance style, musicians looking for some concentrated ensemble playing, or upper intermediate musicians looking to branch out to different sizes of recorders.  This class should help intermediate musicians with few chances to play with others or musicians who are new(er) to the recorder and need to learn some basic Renaissance performance practice.

Register through June 28.

We reserve the right to cancel the class if too few people sign up.  Class maximum is 10 participants.  In the event of cancellation, 100% of payment will be refunded.

Participant cancellation policy:  Participants may cancel up to 24 hours before the session with a $10 cancellation penalty.  The balance will be refunded.  No refunds issued if cancelling less that 24 hours before the session.
